Another prominent feature of the college is the promotion of sports. In this respect the college is widely acknowledged on account of its remarkable achievements in this area. It had the distinction of remaining K.U. champion in Boxing for more than 20 years. Its performance in Kabaddi and Wrestling has also been astounding. Four of our Volleyball players-Maha Singh, Satbir Singh, Om Parkash and Ram Kumar represented Indian Universities in the universiade in 1970 in International Volleyball championship at Turin in Italy. Some other stars in the galaxy of sports are as under:-

• Wazir Singh was selected in Asian Games (Boxing) 1981-82.
• Geeta Saini (Hockey) represented India in Asian Games 1982-83.
• Parhlad Saini (Judo) represented India Gold Saarc Countries 1992-93.
• Davender Yadav (Judo) represented India Gold Saarc Countries 1992-93.
• Poonam (Judo) awarded Silver in Saarc countries 1992-93.
• Sanjeev Kumar (Judo) represented India, 1996-97.
• Rajesh Kumar (Football) represented India 1997-98.
• Manmeet Singh (Football) represented India under 19 years in South korea 1998-99.
• Ramesh Chand (Wrestling) represented India 1999-2000.
• Chandresh (Handball) represented Indian Junior Team 2000-2001.
• Mukesh Kumar represented Indianlearn in Judo 2001-02.
• Sheenu Jain (Wrestling) represented India in France 2001-02.
• Aruna & Archana represented India in Judo in Junior Asian championship 2001-02 and got 2nd & 3rd positions.
• Geetika Jakhar (Wrestling) Junior Indian Team in Asian Games 2002-03.

Our college also gives encouragement to martial arts like Judo and Carate. It also promotes Athletics, Chess and Gymnastics. The college may easily be called a nursery of sports. It s obvious from the above list that our players have acquired name and fame at the National and International level in the past. The past and the present of the college in fact abounds in sports glories. Even a cursory look on our record achievement in recent years reveal that the college even now is not devoid of excellence in sports. It is this recognition of our excellence in all round sports that A.I.U Board has accorded final approval to the holding of All India inter Unversity Boxing Championship from 5th Feb 2003 to 8th Feb 2003 on our Campus.
